Love Dogs? New Pattern Sends Profits to Kauai Humane Society

Do you love dogs? I love 'em like a crazy person. I took Pulo's picture when she was in the shelter (before she found a home) over a year ago, and she is still my laptop's wallpaper. I hope her new human doesn't think I am a nut. :)

Because we love dogs around here, we also happen to love the Kauai Humane Society. Kauai is home to one of the best Humane Society shelters in America. They do an amazing job of keeping everything spotless---for the pets and for the humans alike. The pets are well cared for and beautiful. With programs like "Critter Camp" , where kids come in every day and train dogs to make them more adoptable, Kauai Humane Society cares for these homeless pets better than anywhere I've ever seen.

We love 'em so much that we wanted to find a way to support them in this tough economic time. Shelters everywhere are hurting, and we wanted to use our creativity and this amazing site we've developed to help. So we created two new patterns called "Love Dogs" - one encorporates a checkerboard pattern that can be made into a silhouette (the #1 pattern), and a more complex checkerboard (the #2 pattern). To make the silhouette, just choose Love Dogs #1 and make color 1 and 2 the same.

When you buy any product we make happen in any of our "Love Dogs" patterns, you can show your love for excellence in humane sheltering too. All profits will go to this stellar organization, and will be earmarked for Dog Adoption programs.
