White Linen vs. Off-White Linen for My Home Lighting

I am trying to decide between White Linen and Off-White Linen for my home lighting. Can you help me decide which one I should choose?

In terms of popularity, Off-White Linen is number one. It seems to be a bit gentler in the warm-toned environments that have become quite fashionable in homes. We see a lot of rich creams, taupes and graupe (grayish taupe) in modern looks; for these palettes, Off-White Linen is usually a great choice.

On the other hand, White Linen is very crisp and clean looking. We find that it looks very chic if you're going for a beach cottage look -- especially when white chair rails, wainscoting, or moldings are present.
