Pendant Lights over a Bar

I am thinking about putting can lights into my bar, but I love the look of pendant lights. What do you think?

We are biased. We developed pendant lights to replace the standard can lights. The problem we had with them on a personal level is that they produce a light that is quite bright, but also quite harsh. Over a bar, you want an intimate setting; you want visual music to sing out when you flip the switch.

Can lights have their place in your overall lighting scheme. They suit utilitarian environments where a spot of light is needed. Pendants will create a warm and inviting space and will help create a mood that is calm and serene. They also help create a dividing line between areas in your home, such as a dining area and a living area.
